Roger Lee Wolfe was born February 28, 1932 to Cecil and Mildred (Rogers) Wolfe in Homestead, Oklahoma where he graduated from high school. Roger attended OSU in Stillwater where he obtained a degree in diesel mechanics. After college he served in the U.S. Navy, after which he married Cleo Murray of Canton, Oklahoma and had three daughters, Pamela Jean (September 15, 1957 stillborn), Kathy Lynn (September 14, 1959) and Lori Ann (October 2, 1961). Roger retired three times. He worked for Conoco Oil Company for 45 years as a diesel mechanic, Wilson Manufacturing and then Town and Country Steel Buildings. Rarely idle, he loved rebuilding cars. Throughout the years he also reupholstered furniture in his spare time.

Roger was preceded in death by his wife Cleo (Murray) Wolfe of Cherokee; his parents, Cecil and Mildred Wolfe of Homestead; his nephew, Scott McGinn of Okeene. He is survived by two daughters: Kathy and Mike McFall of Elk City, Oklahoma and Lori and Mark Mead of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren, Kelli Clark of Edmond, Oklahoma; Karie and Ben Bradley of Wichita, Kansas; Eric and Mykel McFall of Camargo, Oklahoma and Krystal and Jason Braker of Mustang, Oklahoma; nine great- grandchildren, Ashley Clark, Mylee Clark, Dylan Bradley, Logan Bradley, Kash McFall, Kennedi McFall, Skyler Braker, Austin Braker and Sydney Braker; a sister, Norma and Ed McGinn of Okeene, Oklahoma and a brother Louis Wolfe of Ponca City, Oklahoma. Roger departed this life on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Elk City, OK at the age of 81 years, 10 months and 8 days.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the Longdale Gymnasium with Steve Driskill officiating. Interment will follow in Canton Cemetery under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.
