February 27, 1967 ~ June 24, 2019

Anthony Dean Swimmer a.k.a. "McBone," 52 years young, passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on June 24, 2019. He was born February 27, 1967 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Odeila Sankey and Ford Swimmer. He was married to Teresa Swimmer on April 1, 2010.

Anthony had one daughter, Adrianne Swimmer from a previous relationship. She was his pride and joy.

Anthony loved to listen to music, loved to dance and sing karaoke. He enjoyed time with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing with his grandkids. His hobbies included cooking for his family and trying new recipes, gambling, playing bingo, playing dominos, dice and playing games on his tablet. He also liked to travel and meet new friends.

Anthony lived on the Wind River Indian Reservation for the majority of his life. He graduated from St. Stephen's Indian School and attended college in Pocatello, Idaho. For many years Anthony enjoyed his job as a Black Jack dealer on the Wind River Reservation, he was a very dedicated employee always showed up early and stayed late.

Anthony is survived by his wife Teresa Swimmer; brothers Elton and Forrest Yellowfish; Garen, Ford, Scott, Barney, Sheldon, Cornell, Robert and Winslow Sankey; sisters Annette Bober, Danette Hook, and Dr. Aldora White Eagle; his daughter Adrianne Swimmer, numerous nieces and nephews and numerous grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Odeila Sankey and Ford Swimmer.

Wake Services will be held Friday, June 28, 2019 at Canton Native American Gym from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Canton Native American Gym with Rev. George Akeen, Jr. and Alexander Sankey officiating. Interment will be at Canton Cemetery, in Canton, Oklahoma. Condolences and flowers can be sent to Pierce Funeral Home in Canton, Oklahoma.
