Clemmie Rash
(September 12, 1944 - January 28, 2011)

Clemmie Maxine (Ferguson) Rash was born on September 12, 1944 to Herbert and Bessie Ferguson in Thomas, OK. She was the youngest of nine children being born on the oldest siblings 14th birthday. Clemmie was raised and educated in the Leedey, Oakwood and Seiling areas graduating from Seiling High School in 1962. She was united in marriage to Ray Duncan Rash on July 18, 1966. She and Ray lived and worked in the Seiling, Longdale and Fairview areas before retiring to the Canton Lake area. She is survived by her husband Ray of the home; two daughters, Marsha Gallo and husband Vernon of Canton, OK and Staci Wanzer and her husband Jose of Ringwood, OK; one son, Troy Rash and wife Wendy of Victorville, CA; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother Herbert Ferguson, Jr. of Paris, TX; one sister Eulalia (Lolly) Shifflett of Oakwood, OK; and several nieces and nephews; She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister and five brothers; Clemmie departed this life on Friday, January 28, 2011 at her home after a long battle with cancer. Clemmie enjoyed cooking, camping and anything O.U. She was always the life of the party wherever she was at. She loved being with family and friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 31, 2011 at Canton Cemetery with Chaplain Jeff Jackson officiating. Services are under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton, OK. Memorial donations may be made to the Amercian Cancer Society with Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, P.O. Box 36, Canton, OK 73724 serving as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be made online at www.haiglerpierce.com.
