ENID — Funeral for Vernetta Paulsen, 93, will be 2 p.m., Sunday, September 25, 2011, at Longdale Gym. Interment will follow in Canton Cemetery under direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.

Vernetta was born January 17, 1918, at Omega to John and Frankie (Schultz) Grabow and died September 22, 2011, at home.

Vernetta married Henry on September 19, 1942, in Leominster, MA.

Surviving are daughters Karen Stokes and Jim, Loretta Deonier and Junior and Denise Eitzen and Roger; son Darrell Paulsen; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry, son Ronald; three sisters; and one brother.
