Donna Mae (Whiteshirt) Meat, departed this life on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born July 23, 1963 at Clinton, Oklahoma to Virgil and Winnie Mae (Chiefly) Whiteshirt.

Donna attended Riverside school and graduated from Oklahoma State University at Okmulgee. She always loved to go dancing at Okmulgee Lake on Disco Night. She worked at Concho Day Care. Donna loved to cook and was considered a chef by her loved ones. She always managed to bring a smile and loved to tease and laugh. She loved to watch her western channel with her cat, Eastland Star.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Clarence David Meat; brother Virgil Whiteshirt, Jr.; Donna is survived by her children, Edwin Ray Whiteshirt, Letitia M. Conway, Sandra Kay Meat and Ronnie James Meat; grandchildren Kasarah Mae Meat, Rainey Mae Little Calf Whiteshirt, Thomas Little Calf Whiteshirt; sister Bernice Whiteshirt; many cousins, nieces, nephews and grandkids. ENID, Okla. — Wake service is 7 p.m. today at Cheyenne & Arapaho Gymnasium in Canton for Clarence Meat Sr., 54, of Oklahoma City. Funeral is 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at the same venue. Burial in Canton Cemetery. Arrangements by Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.

Clarence “C.D.” was born Sept. 26, 1958, in Lawton, Okla., to Lester and Frances (Haag) Meat Sr. and died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, in Oklahoma City.

Preceded by his parents, three brothers and one son.

Surviving are wife, Donna; daughters, Senah, Lena and Sandra; sons, Clarence, Brian, Benjamin, Ronnie and Lamont; sister, Lena; and stepchildren, Edwin and Letitia.

A traditional all-night wake service will begin at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 7, 2013 at the Cheyenne & Arapaho Gymnasium in Canton, OK for Clarence D. Meat, Sr., 54, of Oklahoma City, OK. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2013 at the same venue. Pastor James Scott will officiate. Interment will follow in Canton Cemetery under the direction of Haigler-Pierce Funeral Home, Canton.

Clarence “C.D.” was born September 26, 1958 at Lawton, OK to Lester and Frances (Haag) Meat, Sr. and departed this life on February 4, 2013 at Oklahoma City, OK.

Clarence graduated at Crooked Oak High School in Oklahoma City and worked for the Cheyenne & Arapaho Tribes as a carpenter. He loved music and playing the guitar, and watching football.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Gerald Meat, Lester Meat, Jr. and Lincoln Meat; one son, Clarence David Meat, Jr.; Survivors include his wife Donna Meat of the home; daughter Senah Meat, daughter Lena (Meat) Lopez, son Lamont Brown, son Clarence Frank Harjo all of Oklahoma City, OK, son Brian Meat and son Benjamin Meat both of Minnesota, daughter Sandra K. Meat and son Ronnie J. Meat both of the home; two step-children, Edwin R. Whiteshirt of Longdale, OK and Letitia M. Whiteshirt Conway of Hobbs, NM; one sister Lena Deere of Oklahoma City, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Condolences may be made online at www.haiglerpierce.com.
