Randy Lou Doak
September 22, 1959 ~ April 24, 2022

Randy Lou Doak was born September 22, 1959 in Sayre, OK to Les and Freelin (Birdwell) Doak, and departed this life on April 24, 2022. Randy attended public school at Sayre and Weatherford, OK. Growing up, Randy learned many tricks of the trade in the body shop business from his father Les. He married Loretta Puffinbarger on March 5, 1988. They made their home in Okeene, Oklahoma where Loretta taught at Okeene Public Schools, while Randy worked in the oilfield. Randy’s employment included pumping at Red Eagle, being a foreman at John Thompson Enterprises, and was the co-founder of Brickman Oilfield Services. As he was always looking to keep busy, his next work adventure included starting SunDown Services with his wife Loretta, and Tony and Tonya Sessions.

Randy and Loretta moved to Fairview in April of 2020. In 2021 Randy took a job with D & B Oilfield Services where he retired in December of 2021. After retiring he started his new career learning the family farming business.

Randy’s hobbies included camping at Canton Lake in the 5th wheel, spending time at their lake house in Texoma, fishing, following his nieces and nephews to sporting events and other school activities, and traveling on annual vacations with friends and family. Some of his favorite trips included two Alaskan cruises, a Caribbean cruise, a cruise to Cancun, and the Cozumel cruise that he went on to celebrate his niece that was getting married. He also greatly enjoyed his trip to Hawaii with family and friends, as well as the Christmas trip to Branson with family. In his younger years he enjoyed bowling with friends Mike Jones & Doug Barnes on their bowling league and rarely missed his morning and afternoon coffee at West Acres to catch up on small town talk.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents Les & Freelin Doak; father and mother-in-law Lynn & Winona Puffinbarger; sister Winnona Bridgeford; brother Gary Doak; sister-in-law Pam Doak; sister-in-law Collis Doak; and brother-in-law Bill Conkling.

He is survived by his wife Loretta Doak of the home; daughter Brandi Haigler of Edmond, OK; sister Carolyn and husband Lonnie Killman of Ringwood, OK; sister Patricia Conkling of Longdale, OK; brother L.D. Doak of Canton, OK; sisters Darlene & Brenda Doak of Canton, OK; brother-in-law Tommy and wife Angela Puffinbarger of Cherokee, OK; sister-in-law Lynetta and husband Ross Cressler of Cherokee, OK; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation with the family present will be from 5p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday evening at Pierce Funeral Home, Fairview. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the Okeene United Methodist Church with Pastor Arnold Curby officating. Interment will follow at Canton Cemetery under the direction of Pierce Funeral Home, Fairview. The funeral service will be streamed via Facebook Live on the funeral home's Facebook page.
