Jason Blackhorse

January 20, 1981 ~ April 12, 2006

A traditional wake service for Jason Blackhorse, 25, of Kingfisher, will be 7 to 9 p.m. today at Canton Community Center. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Canton Christian Church. George Akeen and Paul Bear Track will officiate Burial will be in Canton Indian Cemetery. Arrangements are by Haigler Funeral Home Inc., Canton. A funeral dinner will be held at the Community Center following burial.

He was born January 20, 1981 in Clinton, to Daniel and Leta Lime Blackhorse and died Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at Edmond Regional Medical Center in Edmond.

He grew up and attended school in Canton. He moved with his parents to Kingfisher in 2003.

Survivors are his parents, Danny and Leta Blackhorse of Kingfisher; one son, Jason Blackhorse Jr. of Weatherford; two sisters, Stephanie Woods and Danielle Blackhorse, both of Kingfisher; and two brothers, Tracey Coffey of Oceanside , California and John Reed of Kingfisher.
