DELLA C. DILL


A Rosary service for Della C. Dill, 94, will be 6:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Okeene. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday at the church. The Rev. David Cowden will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Okeene. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary, Okeene.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 1 to 5 p.m Sunday with the family present 3 to 5 p.m., at the funeral home.

She was born May 21, 1911, in Ingersoll to Frank and Mary Ptacek Morkes and died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005.

She lived in Okeene most of her life and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and St. Anthony’s Altar Society, NCCW, Birthright, 4-H and Oklahoma Extension Home-makers.

She graduated from Holyrood High School, Holyrood, Kan.

She married Anthony Dill Feb. 4, 1941, in Okeene.

Surviving are one son, Tony Dill of St. Charles, Mo.; a daughter, JoAnn Bierig of Broken Arrow; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony, and four brothers and six sisters.

Memorials may be made to Birthright; Birthchoice; St. Anthony Parish Hall Fund; Margaret Hudson Program Bldg. Fund, 509 W. Houston, Broken Arrow, OK 74012; or the Alzheimers Association, 6405 South Yale, Suite 206, Tulsa, OK 74136.
