Okeene – Mary G. Adams, 89, died Wednesday at an Okeene nursing center. Recitation of the Rosary will be 7 PM Friday in the Chapel at Wilkinson Mortuary in Okeene. Funeral Mass will be 10 AM Saturday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Donald Moore as celebrant. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

She was born March 6, 1897, in California, Missouri, to Joseph and Catherine Wieser. She lived in the Okeene community the past 70 years as a housewife.

She and Pete Adams were married April 17, 1917, in Willowdale, Kansas. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Altar Society.

Survivors include a son, Lawrence Pete Adams, Harrah; three daughters, Alma Norman, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Mary Jane Kratz, Doloris, Colorado, and Olive Kirchner, Okeene; 11 grandchildren; eight great – grandchildren; and a great – great – grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son and a grandson.
