Mrs. Anna "Mitch" Robinson, 82 year old Woodward resident died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1992 in the Woodward Hospital and Health Center. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m, Tuesday in the Fifth Street Church of Christ with Gordon Lawson and Jim Rucker officiating. Graveside services were held at 3:00 p.m. in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Anna Mitchell Farmer was born April 14, 1910 in Jesse, OK the daughter of Fred and Ella Farmer. She attended school at Jesse. In 1927 she moved with her family to Carter, Oklahoma in Beckham County. On Oct. 19, 1933 she married Joseph Alee Robinson in Sayre, OK. They made their home in the Sayre area. They later moved to a farm near Roll, OK. Joe preceded her in death on April 25, 1969. In 1972 she made her home in Woodward. She worked for a short time for Clara Wood at the Del Camino Motel, then worked as a sale clerk at Rice's Tots and Teens for eight years.
She was a member of the Fifth Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, James Earl Robinson and wife Elizabeth, Oklahoma City; one daughter, Mary Jackson and husband, Ray Don, Woodward; three grandchildren, James Todd Robinson, Kevin and Susan Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
