Vanetta Mae Higgins

Vanetta Mae Higgins was born October 27, 1952 and passed from this life June 29, 1985 at the age of 32 years.

She was married to Alvin Higgins on August 30, 1971. They resided in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Vanetta attended school in Carter, Oklahoma.

She is survived by her husband Alvin Higgins and one daughter, Melisa Ann Higgins of the home. Also her parents, George Van White, Cheyenne and Delores Jean Matthews, Lindsay, California, 2 sisters, Sandra Jean Burns, Reydon, Carolyn Sue Coots, Cheyenne, a half sister, Thelma Jean Ford, one brother, Glen White, Cheyenne and a half brother, Monroe Alvin Matthews, Jr.

Her son, Allen Lynn Higgins died in the same accidnet as his mother.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 3, 1985 at the First Baptist Church in Cheyenne, Okla. James McMullen officiated at the services, assisted by Harold Knight.

Interment at Mulberry Cemetery, Sweetwater, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma by Rose Chapel of Cheyenne.
