Alfred L. McCullough, 81, of Amarillo died Wednesday, July 3, 2002.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Stephen United Methodist Church Chapel with the Rev. Terry C. Lowe officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Mr. McCullough was born in Elk City, Okla. He served in the Navy during World War II in the Pacific and European Theaters. He married Nadine Moore in Sayre, Okla., in 1945.
He was employed by Phillips Petroleum Co. in Borger from 1947 until his retirement as administrative manager in 1982. He was a 50-year 32nd degree charter member of the Masonic Lodge in Borger.
He had lived in Amarillo for the past 15 years and was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Tim R. McCullough of Amarillo; a sister, Oleta Yagi of Brigham City, Utah; three nephews, Terry Robinson, Steve Robinson and Tom Yagi, all of Utah; numerous cousins; extended family members, Michael Todd Shields and Brent Shields; and an aunt, Eula Thornton of Erick, Okla.
The family suggests memorials be to National Parkinson's Foundation, 1501 N.W. Ninth Ave., Miami, FL 33136; or Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson St., Amarillo, TX 79101.
