Funeral services for Mildred Wilson Shepard were held June 19, 1985 in the Hammon Baptist Church with Rev. Horace Elliott officiating.

Burial was in the Lone Oak Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home.

Mildred Shepard was born on September 29, 1907 in Gilmer, Texas and died June 16, 1985 at the age of 77.

She came from Texas in Granite, where she lived for two years.

In 1929 she moved to a farm west of Hammon.

She was married to Robert L. Shepard.

He preceded her in death in 1954.

She was a member of the Rebekahs and the First Baptist Church of Hammon.

She is survived by one brother and his wife, Bruce and Mary Wilson of Blocker, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Ruch of Visalia, California; Mrs. Ruth Underwood of Compton, California; and Mrs. Berta Lee Putelli of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two nieces; two nephews; as well as other relatives and numerous friends.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers.
