Laura Elizabeth Brock Sheehan

Laura Elizabeth Brock was born in Carroll County, Missouri February 4, 1853 and departed this life February 14, 1943 at the age of 90 years and ten days.

She was united in marriage to William Logan Sheehan in 1871. He was buried in October of 1923, being twenty years of age. To this union five children were born and they brought them to Oklahoma in 1899.

Mrs. Lucy Fissell of Wichita, Kansas and Mrs. Irene Viers of the Berlin community are the daughters who survive. Mrs. Nessie Draper and the _________(can't read balance of sentence.)

Mrs. Sheehan had been very sick in the home of her younger daughter for nine weeks. Al the time she was patient and kind as she possessed a good disposition.

She was a member of the Church of Christ and was an accomplished singer in her time.

Five generations are well represented as she is the mother of five children; twenty seven grandchildren; thirty six great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

The funeral was conducted at Berlin with evangelist N. R. Winters conducting the services with the Littrell & Scroggins Funeral Home in charge of the interment in the Lone Oak cemetery in Sayre, Oklahoma.
