Jennie Belle Vinson Enid News and Eagle Saturday, 31 Jul 1982
Elk City - Jennie Belle Vinson, 89, died Wednesday in an Oklahoma City hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Martin Funeral Home chapel at Elk City with the Rev. Henry Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery at Elk City.
Mrs. Vinson was born Sept. 27, 1892 at Forney, Texas. She moved from Texas to Elk City in 1914, settling on a farm in the Bella Vista Community. She had lived in the Elk City area since that time. In 1912, she and William Mack Vinson were married in Forney. He died in 1940.
Mrs. Vinson was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Eddie and Jimmy Vinson, both of Elk City; one daughter, Rosa Lee Romans, Enid; one sister, Ella Darby, Wichita Falls, Texas; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William, in 1940 and three children.
