Malvina (Mallie) Salter Webb

Funeral services were held on August 31, 1984 for Malvina (Mallie) Salter Webb.

Mrs. Webb was born on September 8, 1902 at Wellington, Texas; she passed away on August 29, 1984 at Lexington, Oklahoma at the age of 81. She had been in ill health for several months.

She moved from Willington, Texas in 1928 to Hammon, Oklahoma. On March 15, 1932 she was married to J.D. Webb, who preceded her in death. The Webbs lived in Hammon for 33 years. In 1965, the moved to Elk City, Oklahoma and they lived there until 1973. They moved to Ponca City and lived one year before moving to Washington, Oklahoma in 1974 where Mrs. Webb spent her remaining years.

Mrs. Webb was a member of the Church of Christ, the Order of Eastern Star and The Rebekah Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry A. and Mamie Slater, her husband Jack Webb, and one brother E.P. (Pete) Salter.

She is survived by three sons: Roy and Charles (Chuck) Webb both of Arkansas City, Kansas and Wayne Webb of Elk City, four daughters: Gwendolyn Chamberlain of Ponca City, Catherine Clark of Fremont, California, Mary Dee Maynard of Washington, Oklahoma and Ann Biddy of Deer Creek, Texas; twenty-seven grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren, one brother, Henry A. Salter of Leedey and one niece, Janet Alwine of Houston, Texas.

Services were held in the Leedey Church of Christ and burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery east of Leedey, Oklahoma.
