Longtime Beckham County resident Mr. Paul Vines passed away Monday afternoon April 8, 2019 in Sayre, OK at the age of 50 years, 7 months and 18 days.

Paul was born August 21, 1968 in Sayre, OK to his parents Dennis and Mary (Bradley) Vines. Paul has been a loyal and dedicated Wal Mart manager for several years. He started as an hourly employee and worked his way to district manager. He has managed stores in Oklahoma, Texas and Colorado. He has also worked for Outlaw Oil Field Services, Hampel Oil, Triple B Oil Field Services and Longdale Speedway as well. Paul had many hobbies he enjoyed during his lifetime, such as stock car racing, golfing and enjoying the outdoors hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his father: Dennis Vines and grandparents: Edward and Fern Vines McAden, Joe and Jimmie Bradley.

Paul is survived by his mother: Mary Vines of the home, 1 sister: Tracy and husband Rick Smith of Erick, OK, 2 nephews: Austin and Tanner Smith of Erick, OK as well as a host of other relatives, longtime friends, neighbors and close friends.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, April 12, 2019 at Erick first Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Kleckner and Pastor Charlie Floyd officiating.

Interment will follow at Erick Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Erick Fire Department or Erick Alumni Association.
