Mr. Earl James Tignor passed away December 16, 2018 at the age of 71 years, 5 months and 7 days in Erick, OK.

Earl was born July 9, 1947 in Sayre, OK to his parents Earnest Junior and Charlotte Elinor (Garrett) Tignor. Earl was raised in Erick, OK graduating from Erick High School in 1965. He served his country faithfully in the United States Navy serving our nation from 1965 until 1971. During this time he received the National Defense Service Medal. Earl specialized in the airplane inspection maintenance division of the aviation program. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and was very interested in anything to do with airplanes. Earl’s greatest love was spending time with his son Ben and daughter- in-law Brittany and beautiful grand-daughters; Paisley Marie and Lily Kay.

Earl is survived by 1 son; Ben and wife Brittany Tignor of Erick, OK, 1 sister; Janis and husband Danny Nunn of Bellevue, TX, 1 niece Karalee Nunn of Colony, TX, 1 nephew; Garrett Nunn of Wichita Falls, TX, and grandchildren; Paisley Marie and Lily Kay Tignor of Erick, OK along with many other relatives and longtime friends.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday December 21, 2018 at Erick Cemetery with Chaplin David Worsham officiating.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home in Erick, OK.
