Snider passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Colorow Care Center in Olathe, CO at the age of 89.

Funeral services will be held at New Hope Evangelical Free Church in Cedaredge, CO at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 19, 2017.

Interment will be at Erick Cemetery in Erick, OK at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 22, 2017.

Alma Mae was born on October 2, 1927 to Allena Foster Foley and Alonzo Vaughan Baker in Erick, OK. Following graduation from Erick High School in 1945 she assisted her father in the family grocery store. She married in 1949 and moved to Amarillo, TX where she raised three daughters. She was a leader with Camp Fire Girls for many years and active in PTA. She worked at Best Products for 15 years. She worked for over 20 years at D & S Pharmacy where she retired at the age of 80. She was a member of Amarillo Business Women’s Association, was chosen as Woman of the Year in 1998 and served as past president in 1999. She enjoyed fishing, photography, oil painting, crocheting, games, bowling and her family. She also loved telling jokes and funny stories. While in Amarillo she was a member of Paramount Baptist Church and in 2012 she moved to Cedaredge, CO and joined New Hope Evangelical Free Church.

She is survived by her daughters Kathryn Finley (Joel), Barbara Breitnauer (John), and Tricia Shriver (John); five grandchildren, Danny Finley, Shaun Finley (Lindsey), Nicholas Breitnauer (Brooke), Ashley Breitnauer, and Sally DeWitt (David), as well as one great-grandchild, two step-grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to HopeWest Hospice, P. O. Box 24, Delta, Colorado 81416 or the American Heart Association.
