Earlene Mabry was born July 12, 1937 in Erick, Oklahoma to Mable Estelle and Otis Henry Holland. She passed away September 2, 2017 at Erick, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years, 1 month and 20 days.

Earlene grew up in the Erick community where she attended schools. At the age of 16 she was married to Billy Fred Mabry at Erick, Oklahoma on July 21, 1953. They made their home in Erick, where Bill was employed with Laliker Chevrolet Company until 1955 when they moved to Borger, Texas. She continued to be a homemaker until the last year they lived in Borger when she had their first child, Larry. In 1961 they returned to Erick where she raised their family including their other son, Rodney and daughter, Tera. In 1973 Bill and Earlene began a farming and ranching operation and continued until 1996. She also worked at WestOK, Dixie Department Store, B & O, Cal's Café, Sols Western Wear and also part time at the Department of Transportation Information Center. Earlene also enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1 brother, Steven Ray Holland.

She is survived by her daughter, Tera Chaplin and husband, Jim, San Angelo, TX; 2 sons, Larry Mabry and companion, Jessie, Erick, OK and Rodney Mabry and friend, Barbara, Erick, OK; 5 grandchildren, Fallon Mabry, Stacia Mabry, Amanda Jean Parks, Rebecca Bunch and Cherokee Bunch; 1 great grandchild, Channing Bunch; 2 sisters-in-law, Betty Davis, Amarillo, TX and Glennyss Holland, Erick, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.
