Thomas Edward Harkins Jr. passed from this life on Monday morning, April 1, 2019 at the age of 31 years in Erick, OK after a battle with cancer.

Thomas was born December 11, 1987 in Elk City, OK to his parents Tom and Diana Harkins. Thomas attended Erick High School and Western Technology Center for welding in Burns Flat, OK. He loved the outdoors. Fishing, hunting, clay shooting and bow hunting were many of his favorite hobbies. Playing pool and attending street races were other hobbies as well. Thomas enjoyed and loved life to its fullest. Barbecuing and cooking for his friends and family made him happy. Thomas’ greatest love was for his daughter, Gabriella. Spending time with her filled his heart with great joy and love.

Thomas is preceded in death by his grandparents and 1 brother: Derek Harkins.

Although he is no longer with us, his memory will be kept alive through the family and friends he leaves behind which include his daughter: Gabriella of Erick, OK, parents: Tom and Diana Harkins of Erick, OK, 1 brother: Victor and wife Deirdre of Erick, OK, 2 sisters: Tiffany and husband Ryan Hinson of Yukon, OK, Natasha Harkins of Erick, OK, girlfriend: Ashley Walker of Sayre, OK, 3 nieces: Peyton, Presley and Khloe, as well as a host of longtime friends and good buddies.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, April 5, 2019 at Erick First Baptist Church with Pastor Ben North officiating.

Interment will follow at Erick Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, April 3, 2019 and Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home, Erick, OK.
