Jodie Fay Allen was born January 23, 1946, to Jack L. and Opal Fae Allen in a car going to Elk City in a snowstorm.

He grew up in Crawford, OK, and graduated high school from Crawford High in 1964. Jodie attended Sayre Junior College and Panhandle State University from 1967 ~ 1969.   He passed away January 11, 2021 in Elk City, OK at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 19 days.  Jodie married Barbara Lynn Smith in Dumas, TX, April 4, 1969. To this union 3 children were born:  Jody Lynn, Belenda Faye, and Beka Jean.

He is survived by his wife:  Barbara Allen of 51 years;  1 son: Jody Lynn; 2 daughters:  Belenda Faye and husband Jimmy, Beka Jean;  9 grandchildren: Alizabeth Faye and husband Teldon, Scott and wife Haley, Jody Lynn Jr. and wife Kayla, Maelyn and fiancé Ray, Katheryne and fiancé Joseph, Tina and husband Landon, Vyctoria, Jimi, and Josh; 12 great-grandchildren: Bella, Brayden, Remington, Catelyn, Colette, Hadley, Gunner, Landon Jr., Liberty, Langston, Oliver, and Randy;  2 brothers: Jerry and wife Nancy, Jimmy and wife Becky;  1 sister: Glenda Kirk; sister-in-law: Pat Allen; brother and sister-in-law: Leo and DeeAnn Smith; as well as a host of many friends and family members.
 

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, 2 brothers: Jackie, Johnnie and wife Glenda; 1 niece: Skyla.
 

He was a rancher and fence builder all of his life. He loved children. The more kids he had around him the happier he was. He will be truly missed by all.
 

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Erick First Baptist Church with Pastor Charlie Floyd officiating. 

Interment will follow at Erick Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Friday, January 15, 2021, at Rose Chapel, Sayre.
