Earnestine Redmon passed away Saturday afternoon, September 11, 2021, in Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years, 2 months, and 21 days. 

Earnestine was born June 21, 1944, to her parents Frank and Bessie (Dowdy) Travis in Tuttle, OK. Earnestine attended grade school in Maysville, and Pauls Valley, OK.  After marring Billy Redmon in Purcell, OK, August 3, 1957, they both moved to Beckham County where she has resided since. Earnestine was a loyal and dedicated investigator for the Beckham County, and Custer County DA’s office for many years. Earnestine retired in 2010 and has enjoyed every minute, catching up on her enjoyment of reading and spending time with her little companion, Lucy. Earnestine will be missed, and her memory cherished by many.

Preceding Earnestine in death include her parents, 1 daughter, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Earnestine is survived by her 1 daughter:  Patricia Redmon of Erick, OK, and 1 sister: Beatrice Meyers of Enid, OK; 1 sister-in-law:  Modena Downs of Las Vegas, NV; 1 granddaughter:  Mercy Moreau, as well as a host of longtime friends, neighbors, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Buffalo Cemetery with Minister Kerry Hookstra officiating.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM~1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Rose Chapel, Sayre.
