BALKO, OKla. - James L. Klapp, 91, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2002, in Perryton, Texas.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Jefferson Street Church of Christ in Perryton with Mikel Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Klapp was a farmer. He was a member of Perryton Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Diana L. Johnson of Pueblo, Colo.; a stepson, Ed Halpain of Perryton; a sister, Anna Mae Wright of Perryton; and three grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Ochiltree Hospice Volunteers, 3101 Garrett Drive, Perryton, TX 79070.
