SPEARMAN - Lewis Ray Frantz, 93, died Monday, March 6, 2000.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hansford Cemetery with Leonard Harper, minister of Spearman Church of Christ, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Mr. Frantz was born in Autwine, Okla., and moved to Spearman from Ochiltree County 20 years ago. For many years he farmed north of Waka and drove the Waka school bus. He piloted a Stinson airplane.

He married Caro Lee in 1939 at Beaver, Okla.

Survivors include his wife and two sisters, Maxine Burnes of California and Marcena Elledge of Pueblo, Colo.

The family suggests memorials be to Spearman Church of Christ.
