NAME: Dempsey "Clay" Cook, age 63, a lifelong Atoka County resident.

 

BORN: He was born on Thursday, December 18, 1952, to D.M and Vivian Leona (Wafford) Cook, at Wilson Community, Atoka, OK.

 

PASSED AWAY Clay passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Atoka, OK.

 

AGE: 63 years, 2 months and 15 days.

 

EDUCATION: He attended school in the Wilson Community and graduated from Wapanucka High School in 1971.

 

OCCUPATION: Clay was a Welder Fabricator for Trail Magic Trailer, Sundown Trailers, and work as a welder for James Gudgel.

 

MARRIED: He married Alecia Gail (Hokett) on May 19, 1973 at Voca in Atoka County.

 

CHURCH AFFILIATION, HOBBIES AND OTHER AFFILIATIONS: Clay was a member of Wilson Baptist Church, a member of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations. He loved making knives, his horses, working on cars and watching old Western movies.

CHILDREN:                           Tisa Parson and husband Chris of Edmond, OK.

                                                 Barry Cook and wife Jennifer of Durant, OK.

                                               Cody Cook and Mary Jackson of Atoka, OK.

GRANDCHILDREN:         Tyler Haddock, Lydia Tate Parson, KC Cook, Abby Grace Parson, Jackie Cook,

                                            Sydney Parson, Lexi Marie Cook, Cody Lee Cook.

BROTEHRS:                        Haskell Cook and wife Mary of Atoka, OK

                                               Robert Cook and wife Glenda of Meeker, OK

SISTERS:                              Janada Perry and husband Bob of Moore, OK

                                               Letha Oliphant and husband Dave of Columbus, IN

Along with many very special nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
