This little abandoned burial site is west of Fred's Fish Camp near Atoka Lake. It is fenced, but the fence is in bad need of repair. It was canvassed August 8, 1979 by Janice Allen and Gwen Walker. On that date four stones were found and a number of unmarked graves. When our list was compared with that of Miss Mildred Toaz, who canvassed the site on October 5, 1957, we found that she had recorded nine graves which we did not find. They have been added to the stones we found
If you have family buried in the Boggy Bend Cemetery and would like to add your information to this website, contact area coordinator.
