Short Spring Cemetery



Cherokee – Mrs. Elizabeth Andree, 101, died Tuesday morning in a Cherokee hospital. Her funeral will be at 1:30 PM Thursday in the Bethel Baptist Church.

The Rev. Jerry Vilhour and the Rev. J. Eloy Romero officiating. She will be buried in the Short Spring Cemetery, with the Grapes Funeral Home of Cherokee in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Andree is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Esther Alexander, Mrs. Clara Stauffer, and Mrs. Birdie Brining, all of Cherokee; three sons, Edward of Cherokee, Alfred of Streator, Illinois, and Ralph, Twin Falls, Idaho; 12 grandchildren; 27 great – grandchildren; 14 great – great – grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, two brothers, two grandchildren and two great – grandchildren.
