BETTY LEE SMITH
Betty Smith passed away Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, in Longview, Texas.
Surviving are two sons, Don of Ashland City, Tenn., and Tony of Anchorage, Alaska; her mother, Alice Smith; two sisters and a brother.
Preceded by her father, Jesse Smith, and grandparents, Leland and Bertha Sample and H.T. and Susie Smith.
Lee was born Nov. 6, 1950, and grew up in Jet, Okla. She had lived in Gladewater, Texas, for the past 23 years.
Graveside service will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, north of Jet. Arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home Inc., Cherokee. Viewing 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. (www.lanmanmemorials.com)

Graveside service for Betty Lee Smith will be at Pleasant View Cemetery, Jet, Oklahoma, Monday, September 23, 2013 at 10 AM, officiated by Rev. Mary Irby.
Lee Smith passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013, while recovering from back surgery in the hospital in Longview, Texas. Lee was born in Cherokee November 6, 1950, graduated from Jet High School in 1969 and then from Northwestern Oklahoma State University, class of 1973. She taught school in Kansas, drove a truck for 13 years and had been living in Gladewater, Texas, working for Wall – Mart in the Gladewater/Longview area for the past 23 years. She first set up new stores and then worked various department management positions.
Lee is survived by son, Don and Phadra Azbill of Ashland City, Tennessee and their children, Zachary and Natasha Azbill and Trey Romero and son, Tony and Shannon Azbill of Anchorage, Alaska; her mother, Alice Smith of Duncan; two sisters, Jake Hagstrom of Longview, Washington and B.J. Gunn of Tijeras, New Mexico and brother, Tom Smith of Duncan.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jesse Smith and grandparents Leland and Bertha Sample and H.T. And Susie Smith.
