JET — Funeral for Doris Page, of Jet, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at Lanman Chapel, Cherokee, with Pastor Carrell Still officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, north of Jet, with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc. of Cherokee. Viewing will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and before the service on Tuesday. Memories may be shared with the family at www.lanmanmemorials. com.

Doris was born on April 30, 1919, in the Vining community in Alfalfa County to Preston and Bertha Hall Smith and passed from this life Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at Golden Oaks Village, Enid.

Doris lived in the Jet area until she became a resident of Golden Oaks in 2005. After Doris graduated from high school, on July 28, 1941, she married Garold Page in Enid. They had two sons, Earnie and Jim.

She was a member of Willow Road Christian Church, Enid. Doris was a member of Eastern Star, Jet Home Extension Club and Joy Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Garold; one son, Jim Page; her parents, Preston and Bertha Hall Smith; and two brothers, Frank and David Smith.

Doris is survived by her son, Earnie Page and wife Sandee of Jet; four grandchildren, Debbie Coker and husband Chris of Lexington, Brian Page and wife Alisa of Parker, Colo., Bryce Page and wife Tracy of Pleasantville, New York, and Brandon Page and wife Lori of Edmond; and 11 grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Jet Fire Department through the funeral home.
