ENID, Okla. — Funeral service for Pauline Hopkins will be Monday, April 21, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Nash First Christian Church with Pastor Richard Craven and Pastor Dan O’Daniel officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery near Jet with arrangements by Lanman Funeral Home, Inc., of Cherokee. Viewing will be Saturday 2-5 p.m. Memories may be shared at www.lanmanmemorials.com.

Pauline was born April 8, 1924, at Butler, in Custer County, Okla., the daughter of Walter and Orla Baird Connolly. She and Loren E. Hopkins were married on Sept. 14, 1952, in Jet and they made their home in Jet, where she continued to live until April 16, 2014. She was a homemaker and caregiver who cared for others many times. Pauline was a member of the First Christian Church in Nash and also was a member of Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church. She was an active member of Jet Industrious Oklahoma Home and Community Education organization.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Orla Baird Connolly; her husband, Loren E. Hopkins and her sister, Doris Lee.

She is survived by two children, William Lee Hopkins and wife, Jonell and Verla Blackledge and husband, Paul; one grandchild; six step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and 12 step-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Nash First Christian Church or Jet Fire Department through the funeral home.
