CLIFFORD R. GREEN
A graveside service for Clifford R. Green, 76, of Jet will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Pleasant View Cemetery, north of Jet. The Rev. Diana Pruitt will officiate. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc. of Cherokee. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born June 11, 1930, in Alfalfa County to Clinton and Rosa Ann Puffinbarger Green and died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006, in Jet.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a self-employed carpenter. He married Anna Mae Haxton Feb. 3, 1967. He was a member of Jet Senior Citizens.
Surviving are his wife, Anna Mae of the home; one son, Mike Green of Cherokee; two brothers, Max Green of Enid, and Ralph Green of Harper, Kan.; four sisters, Peral Weeks of Washington, Iowa, Cynthia Douglas and Sue Thatcher, both of Warsaw, Mo., and Patsy Prewett of Cherokee; and two grandsons.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love.
