He is survived by his wife, Melva of Jet; two sons, Marty Dokes of Oklahoma City and Myron Dokes and his wife, Marie, of Indianapolis, Ind.; two daughters and their husbands, Melanie and Keith Eckhardt of Alva and Melinda and Rocky Cash of Jet; three sisters, Eunice Edwards of Broken Arrow, Mary Rose Wager of Reno, Nev., and Luella Simmons of Branson, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and one great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jimmy Babcock, and two sisters, Lottie Hill and Sylvia Page.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. April 12 at the First Christian Church in Jet with Pastor Garth Blake officiating. Interment will be at the Pleasant View Cemetery at Jet. Fisher Funeral Home of Cherokee is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials have been suggested to the Jet Fire Department.
