CLOYD ERVAN SEACHRIS
Cloyd E. Seachris was born March 25, 1936, in Waynoka, OK., to John Erven and Effie Leora Bolar Seachris and died Oct. 16, 2005 at St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Enid, OK. He was cremated at his request, and there will be no memorial service. Arrangements were by Goodwin Funeral Home, Cherokee, OK.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1953 to 1957. He was a longshoreman and lived in Rainier, Ore. He and LaDonna Long were married June 10, 1959, in Reno, Nev. He took early retirement due to his disability, and they traveled in several locations for 10 years. They moved back to Waynoka, OK. in 1981 and to Cherokee, OK. in 2001. He was a rock hound, hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of the home; two daughters, Dee Armstrong of Blackwell, OK. and Connie Roberts of Cherokee, OK.; a son, Alan of Cody, Wyo.; a sister, Erma Gable of Wichita, KS., and three grandsons.
Memorials may be made to his grandsons' educational fund.
