LINDIA LEE JOHNSON
A graveside service for Lindia Lee Johnson, 62, of Cherokee, OK., will be 1 p.m. Friday at Waynoka Municipal Cemetery. The Rev. Gail Edmison will officiate. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home, Waynoka, OK.
She was born Jan. 5, 1943, in Asher, to Joseph Layafette and Pearl May Hickman Wilson and died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, in Alva, OK.
She attended school in Guymon, OK. She married Kenneth Johnson June 18, 1959 in Guymon. They lived in Waynoka, OK. several years before moving to Helena, OK., Goltry, OK., and then to Cherokee, OK. in 2004.
She worked as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Morningstar Baptist Church, Waynoka.
Surviving are her husband, Kenneth of Cherokee, OK.; two sons, Mark Johnson of Watonga, OK., and Dale Brown of Corvallis, Ore.; one daughter, Denisa Ketterman of Goltry, OK.; three sisters, Madenia Elrod of Guymon, OK., Dalcenia Papay of Greenfield, OK., and Felicia Waldaum of Ulysses, KS.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Cherokee Manor Activity Fund.
