MATHILDA HANNAFORD
A private graveside service for Mathilda “Tillie” Hannaford, 87, of Alva, OK., will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Alva Municipal Cemetery. The Rev. Mark Bersche will officiate. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home, Alva, OK.
She was born Aug. 5, 1918, in Alfalfa County, OK. to Jacob and Fredricka Reinschmidt Resler and died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at Share Convalescent Home, Alva, OK.
She attended Cherokee, OK. school. She married Sherman Wayne Hannaford April 10, 1943, at Warrenberg, Mo. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Jim Hannaford and Steve Hannaford, both of Alva, OK.; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Sherman, she was preceded in death by one son, four brothers, and four sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Northwest Oklahoma State University Foundation or the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
