Margaret Godwin
HEREFORD - Margaret Godwin, 78, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001.
Prayer vigil will be at 7 p.m. today in Rix Funeral Chapel with deacon Jonny Cloud officiating. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Monsignor Orville Blum and deacon Jonny Cloud officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Godwin was born Jan. 28, 1923, in Cherokee, Okla. She married Howard R. "Dink" Godwin Sr. on Aug. 18, 1972, in Hereford.
Survivors include two sons, Greg Johnson of Amarillo and Brad Johnson of Hereford; two stepsons, Bud Godwin of Arlington and Gary Godwin of Canadian; a sister, Norma Stein of Cherokee; a brother, Lynn Pollock of Cherokee; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to St. Anthony's School Endowment Fund, 115 N. 25 Mile Ave., Hereford, TX 79045.
