Benton Francis Thomason
Thelma B. Cross, 76, died January 12, 1990 at Share Memorial Hospital in Alva. Her funeral will be at 2:30 pm Tuesday at Burlington Christian Church with the Revs. Bill Morgan and Bill Bryan officiating. Burial will be in Keith Cemetery west of Burlington under direction of Fisher Funeral Home.

She was born May 16, 1913 in Alfalfa County. She taught music in Burlington and Cherokee Public Schools.

She married Shirley Cross in Covington on May 7, 1938. They lived in various towns in Oklahoma.

She was a member of the Cherokee First Christian Church and Alfalfa County Home Demonstration Club.

Survivors are her husband; one son Stanley of Burlington; one daughter Margaret Ann Cross of Garland Texas; one brother Benton Thomason of Alva; two sisters Doris Armbruster of Burlington and Marcella Schupach of San Antonio Texas and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two children and one sister.

Memorials may be made to the church through the funeral home.
