June 10, 1931 - June 21, 2018

The funeral service for Wanda Lee Smith, 87 year-old Enid resident will be 10:00AM Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Alan Gloorwill officiate. Burial will follow in Karoma Cemetery, Goltry.

Wanda was born June 10, 1931 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Ralph and Lila Hancock and died Thursday, June 21, 2018 in her home with her family by her side. She graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1949. After graduation she began working at the Carnegie Library.

On January 1, 1950 she married Lawrence Smith in Enid where the couple made their home. In addition to raising her family she worked at the Garfield County Election Board for over 30 years.

She enjoyed cross-stitching, crossword puzzles, and loved playing games of all kinds?.and she always won! She also liked watching golf, Wheel of Fortune, and American Pickers.

She is survived by her husband Lawrence, three children; Judy McKinley and husband Kevin, of Marlow, OK. , Diana Berry and husband Sam, of Edmond, OK. , and Michael Smith of the home. 7 grandchildren, Amy Brezina, Patricia Smith, Lisa Beck, Melody Hansen, Megan Raines, Melissa Sams, and Jonathan Gearhart. 13 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one great-grandson, Tyler, four sisters and one brother.

Memorials may be made through Henninger-Hinson to Hospice Circle of Love.
