VIRGINIA L. SMITH
Virginia L. Smith, 85, was born November 25, 1919, to Edward and Lola Mae Johnson in Goltry, OK. Virginia passed away Friday, June 17, 2005, at Seiling Nursing Center in Seiling, OK.
She was a graduate of Stillwater High School. She went on to attend beauty school and was a hairdresser for many years. She married J.B. Smith on February 14, 1942. Virginia was a wonderful mother and homemaker and will be missed very much.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers, Lennis and Willard Johnson.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean Condreay of Chester, OK., and Delma Clenney of Edmond, OK.; one son Paul Smith of Barnhart, MO.; one sister, Helen McKellop of Tomball, TX.; one brother, Lawrence Johnson of Stillwater, OK.; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
There will be a formal visitation at Matthews Funeral Home in Edmond, OK. from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. today.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Karoma Cemetery in Goltry, OK.
Services are under the direction of the Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, OK.
