Our dear son, Easton Tyler was born to us, Nolan and Renee ( nee Koehn ) Schmidt on June 8, 2016. He went to be with Jesus on August 8, 2018, just two months past his second birthday.

He had a special bond with his six year old sister, Abigail. She was very protective of her little brother. They loved riding four-wheeler and horse together and spent many happy hours playing. Going with his Daddy was a highlight for him, whether it was riding in the truck or tending the cattle at the feedlot. He kept his Momma busy with his antics, but loved to cuddle at bedtime. In the last number of months, particularly during his last ?ve days, there were many poignant moments we cherish, as gifts from God.

He was a happy and adventuresome little boy, who made friends easily. His Uncle Austin and Aunt Kilee were very special to him. His babysitter, Danielle, and her family will always have a special place in our hearts.

Left with many precious memories are his Daddy and Momma, Nolan and Renee Schmidt and big sister, Abigail, Helena, Oklahoma; paternal grandparents, DeVern and Shilly Schmidt, Chickasha, Oklahoma; maternal grandmother, Beth Koehn of Riceville, Iowa; paternal great-grandmothers, Dorothy Schmidt and Dorothy Unruh, both of Chickasha, Oklahoma; maternal great-grandmother, Mabel Trammell, Moundridge, Kansas; uncles and aunts, Bryson Schmidt and Dana, Nettleton, Mississippi, Austin and Kilee Schmidt, Helena, Oklahoma, Elwin and Monica Koehn, Riceville, Iowa; cousins Shane, Mikhail, Rylan, Carter and Taylynn and many other relatives and friends.

Easton was preceded in death by his grandpa, Curtis Koehn, great-grandfather, Herbert Schmidt, great-grandfather, Jesse Unruh and great-grandfather, James Trammell.

Memorials may be made to the Wagon Creek Christian School through the funeral home.
