GOLTRY - Funeral service for Malinda Orr, 84, of Goltry, was at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at Garland Road Baptist Church. Burial followed in Karoma Cemetery, Goltry, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born Sept. 20, 1927, in Carnegie to John and Rachel Nichols Wedel and passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, in Tulsa.

She attended school in Gentry and Siloam Springs, Ark.

She moved to Goltry in 1931.

She married Averill (Kewpie) W. Orr in 1957. He passed away July 25, 1982.

She moved to Enid in 1996, where she was a member of Garland Road Baptist Church.

Malinda moved to Tulsa in 2006, to be closer to her nephew.

She is survived by her nephew, Roger Johnson and wife, Carolyn of Tulsa.

She was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers.

Memorials may be made to Garland Road Baptist Church or Hillsdale Christian School, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
