ENID — Funeral service for Mona S. Hoskins, 74-year-old Lahoma resident, will be 10 a.m. today, March 7, 2012, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Eric Brown will officiate. Burial will follow in Karoma Cemetery.

Mona was born on the farm near Carrier on March 9, 1937, to Walter and Beulah (Springer) Stucker and died at her home Saturday, March 3, 2012.

She attended Carrier schools, graduating in 1955. She attended Mannequin Manor modeling school in El Paso, Texas.

In the spring of 1962 she married Lynn R. Hoskins. The couple made their home in Las Cruces, N.M. They moved to Okeene in 1972, Alva in 1981, and finally to Lahoma in 1991. She was a homemaker.

She was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lahoma. She was a member of DAR, Colonial Dames and the Daughters of 1812. She loved her pets, gardening, but mostly her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Monte Hoskins and wife Tiffany of Lahoma, and Kevin Hoskins and wife Andrea of Tulsa; six grandchildren, Brandi, Chezney, Hunter, Karlie, Zoie and Baylee; one great-grandchild, Alexa; one sister, Marion Decker of Kansas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gary Stucker.
