ENID — A graveside service for Glenn Fluman, 94, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2008, in Karoma Cemetery, Goltry. The Rev. Stanley Jenkins will officiate. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

He was born Feb. 25, 1914, in Goltry to Peter and Mary Rohrback Fluman and died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at Hennessey Care Center.

He attended school in Goltry and Billings but left school to help on the family farm. They moved to Ringwood and later to Enid. He joined the Civilian Conservation Corps Aug. 17, 1935. He worked until April 16, 1937. He later worked for Enid Army Air Field, Banfields Packing of Enid, then became partners with his brother in Fluman Body Shop, which operated for over 57 years.

He married Roberta V. Mack Dec. 25, 1937, in Enid. She died Feb. 10, 2007.

Surviving are his children, Dallas G. Fluman of Enid and Glenna Roder of Hennessey; one sister, Florence Goucher of Enid; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Roberta, he was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
