Karoma Cemetery



Funeral services for Grace L. Erman, 98, Guthrie, who died Saturday in a Guthrie hospital following a period of ill health, will be held at 3 PM Monday in the Ladusau – Evans chapel with Dr. Lloyd Lambert officiating. Burial will be in the Karoma Cemetery.

She was born November 14, 1885 in Caldwell, Kansas, to James and Caroline Jones. She grew up in Caldwell.

On June 11, 1905, she and Joseph W. Erman were married in Carrier. They moved to a farm northwest of Lahoma where they lived until he died in 1914.

She lived most of her life in the Goltry – Carrier community.

She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Methodist Church, Aurora, Missouri.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. H. B. (Helen) Congdon, Enid; and a son, George Erman, Purcell.

She was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers and one sister.
