A Celebration of Life and Remembrance for Billie Jean Wright, 68, of Mustang, formerly of Helena, will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015 at North Garland Church of Christ in Enid. Gordon Jantz will officiate. Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery, Helena, Okla. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Billie Jean passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, in Enid.

She was born Nov. 17, 1946, in Enid to James Carmen LeCrone and Doris Jean (Fishback) LeCrone, the first of five children. She grew up on the family farm southeast of Helena, and attended Helena Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1965. She attended Helena Church of Christ and was baptized at the age of 14. At the time of her death, she was a member of Lakehoma Church of Christ in Mustang, Okla.

On July 9, 1966, she married her high school sweetheart, Leslie “Sam” Wright. They moved to Edmond, to further their education at Central State University while Sam worked for the FBI. Billie worked for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and the Oklahoma Health Care Authority, retiring in 2003 after 37 years of state service. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband of 42 ½ years, Sam Wright.

Billie is survived by two sons, Shawn Allen Wright and wife Jennifer, of Hydro; C. Travis Wright and wife Amy, of Allen, Texas; six grandchildren, Zac, Emily, Luke, Lance, Austin and Lane Wright; sister, Jamie Barr of Enid; three brothers, John LeCrone and wife Kathy, of Enid; Larry LeCrone and wife Deana, of Enid; and Joe LeCrone, of Bison; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Memorials may be made to Lariat Creek Christian Camp, RR 1 Box 39 B, Geary, OK 73040.
