Helena, OK. -- The funeral for Wilda Myrle Sprague, 84, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Helena Christian Church. The Revs. Bob and Jim Paine will officiate. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery near Helena. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home.
She was born at Lambert, OK. to Joseph C. and Nannie M. Case and died Saturday, June 1, 2002, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, Enid, OK.
She graduated from Cherokee (OK.) High School and entered nurses training in Enid at what is now Integris Bass Baptist Health Center. She became a registered nurse. In 1939, she married Robert L. Sprague. They lived in Los Angeles, CA., moving to Helena in 1945. They operated Sprague Electric Shop for 35 years before retiring. She took an active part in Helena Christian Church, Order of the Eastern Star and Helena Chamber of Commerce.
Surviving are her husband, Robert of Helena, OK.; two daughters, Nancy Haberland of Atlanta, GA. and Linda Kimrey of Austin, TX.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister (Belva Hartman).
