Mildred Murray
Enid,Ok — The funeral for Mildred Murray, 96, of Helena, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at United Methodist Church, Helena. Jay Drawbridge, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery, southeast of Helena. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home Inc. of Helena. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and before the service at the church.
She was born June 28, 1912, near Alva to Van and Anna Summerson and died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at Great Plains Care Center, Helena.
She married Arthur Murray Dec. 25, 1928. They made their home near Helena. He died in 1970. She worked at the school lunch room, Percolator Cafe and the nursing home cooking and cleaning. She was a member of Helena Christian Church.
Surviving are one son, Harold Murray of Yukon; three daughters, Erma Boston and Cathy Meyer, both of Helena, and Anna Horn of Stillwater; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Arthur, she was preceded in death by one daughter, one grandson, two brothers and one sister.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Helena Christian Church or Hospice Circle of Love.
