Good Hope Cemetery


Mesa, Arizona – Evaline Irene Morgan, 64, died Monday in a Phoenix, Arizona, hospital following a lengthy illness.

Service will be at 2 PM Friday in the United Methodist Church at Helena with the Rev. Mike Chaffin officiating. Burial will be in Good hope Cemetery under direction of Kenny Lanman funeral home, Helena.

The body will lie in state from late today until noon Friday and at the church one hour prior to the service. The casket will remain closed following the service.

Mrs. Morgan was born December 19, 1914, at Helena and as a young girl joined the Aline Methodist Church. She taught school at McWillie and in Wichita, Kansas. On April 30, 1938, she married Floyd Morgan. The couple lived in Carmen, Fairview and Helena prior to moving to Wichita, Kansas. They later moved to Arizona.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd; a daughter, Ruth Ann Morgan, and a son, John Douglas Morgan, Mesa, Arizona; a brother, F. E. (Cotton) Snider, Nowata; and a sister, Mrs. Olin (Helen) Hubbell, Helena.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
