ANNIE MCCRAY
Annie McCray left this world on October 5, 2006, in Enid, Oklahoma. Wentworth’s Mortuary, Carmen, Oklahoma is in charge of her service. At Annie’s request, the casket will remain closed. Graveside services will be held at Good Hope Cemetery, Helena, Oklahoma on October 9, 2006, at 2 p.m. Reverend Kirk Board will officiate and burial will follow. Family and friends are invited to attend this service.
Annie Louise McCray was born June 23, 1937, to Clarence Clifford McCray and Clara Mae Kershner McCray in McWillie, Oklahoma.
She graduated from Carmen High School with the class of 1955. When in Carmen, she attended the Baptist Church. Annie lived and worked most of her life in Enid.
Annie is survived by three sisters and their husbands, Maude and Leslie Hackett, Joyce and Jim Murray, all of Enid, and Linda and Everett Farrand of Fort Supply. One brother survives her, Philip McCray of Enid. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive. She will be missed by many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Clara McCray; one sister, Evelyn Lawrence; two brothers, Harold and Arthur “Bud” McCray; one niece, Tonya Farrand, and one nephew, Leland Lawrence.
Memorials may be made to the Carmen Public Library. Wentworth’s Mortuary, PO box 308, Carmen, OK 73726, will be custodian of the fund.
